The first phase - a research unit will conduct a study on the feasibility of building alternative payment and exchange methods in local food markets, taking into account the context of supply chains. This will include, among other things, an assessment of the validity of and proposals for solutions to enable payments for agricultural products purchased by customers in the form of local digital currencies (Community Exchange Systems - CES), as well as international practices regarding the digital relevance of product recognition codes. In addition, the research unit will verify the most appropriate way to market the innovative product. In parallel, work will begin on an IT system designed to serve the local market and support the activities of the individual consortium members.
The second stage will consist in the realisation of an investment in the form of the reconstruction, extension and superstructure of the service and production building together with the technical infrastructure and the construction of a retaining wall to properly adapt the premises.
In the third phase, research work will be summarised on the basis of which the organisation of the short supply chain will be optimised. This phase will also see the improvement of the IT system, and the launch of an innovative product - pickled young nettle leaves.
