The main objective of the operation is to minimize the negative impact of beef production on the environment by developing feeding technologies and comparing the size of the carbon footprint of fattening heifers, bullocks and bullocks using an automatic cattle feeding monitoring system. The operation will involve the introduction of modern techniques related to minimizing the negative impact of beef production on the environment by developing feeding technologies and comparing the size of the carbon footprint of fattening heifers, bullocks and bullocks using an automatic cattle feeding monitoring system. The operation will carry out three tasks: fattening of bullocks, bullocks and heifers. Within the framework of 1 task, the agricultural producers that are part of the operation group will use the livestock buildings they own, the equipment they own, purchase the missing stall equipment, equipment necessary to minimize the carbon footprint of beef livestock production. For a period of t

The planned operation envisages the introduction of a number of technological and organizational product innovations aimed at reducing GHG emissions in beef cattle production, strengthening cooperation between producers and buyers, and promoting the implementation of Smań Feeding feeding monitoring systems involving monitoring the feeding behavior of fattening animals and quantifoing phenomena that may inteńere with both their feeding efficiency and production indicators, i,e, min intake of individual feeds per day or daily gain§. ln the case of beef cattle, the reduction of GHG emissions in the present project will be realized mainly through the improvement of feeding efficiency, feed preparation method (implementation of modern solutions for feed preparation and feeding) and production indicators.
