The main objective is the adaptation to polish conditions (improvement) and implementation of the innovative and objective EUROP beef carcass classification technology, which is not currently used on Polish territory. The intermediate objective of this operation is to implement the EUROP objective classification system for use in Poland on a significant scale, i.e. to cover more than 50% of cattle slaughterings in Poland with objective beef carcass classification in 2022. To achieve this goal, it is sufficient to implement objective classification in eight large slaughterhouses. The intermediate goal is: - Installation of EUROP objective beef carcass classification apparatus in the first slaughterhouse. - Conduct a test of the EUROP objective beef carcass classification apparatus according to the procedure required by Regulation (EC) 2017-1182. - Launching th EUROP objective classification system with an online information function for EUROP classification results at eight slaughte

The direct result of the operation will be: lmplementation of objective beef carcass grading techniques in 8 slaughterhouses in poland. lmplementation of a web-accesible applicatlon for benchmarking farms in terms of obtained beef carcass parameters. The indirect effect of the operation will be: - lncrease the degree of trust of value chain participants in pańicular the trust of producers to processors related to the EUROP system. - The fact of automatic grading will give the whole process an air of objectivity and make the system, in the opinion of farmers, immune to abuse, such as underclassing of livestock. - By increasing trust, there will be an increase in the number of direct deliveries from producers to slaughterhouses, bypassing middlemen, which will contribute to an increase in producer margins. - Greater trust at the level of the entire value chain will contribute to better communication, higher efficiency and growth, and a fairer distribution of margins in the chain. The system will prepare the slaughter line to collect data from devices (internet of things loT), desirable in particular for blockchain-based solutions. As part of the implementation of Phase I, development work will be carried out on changing the technology of the EUROP beef carcass grading machine (on the machine made available for testing) and preparing it for Polish conditions, as well as development work on producing a prototype application for presenting grading results to the producer and slaughterhouse connected to the IRZ. The effect of these works is to be: technological modification of the machine for automatic classification of beef carcasses (primarily software) and a prototype application. in the second stage, the purchase of a beef carcass classification machine will take place in accordance with the ZRF and the Description of Tasks. Their installation will take place in the number of 9 units in the locations indicated in Annex 1 as the headquarters of entities in the entrepreneur category. Within the framework of the stage, development work will be carried out in the field of testing and technological reconfiguration of the machine based on the results of the work in this regard from stage I, and testing and modification of the application for presentation of beef carcass classification results based on the actual functioning system.
