The main objective of the operation is to develop and implement innovations in the field of significantly improved technology, organization methods and marketing methods for the production of vegetables and fruit without pesticide residues, which in the long term will contribute to the improvement of the quality of agricultural products, consumer health and the natural environment. The specific objectives are: (1) development and implementation of innovations in the field of significantly improved technology for the production of fruit and vegetables, (2) development and implementation of innovations in the field of a significantly improved method of organization for the production of fruit and vegetables, (3) development and implementation of innovations in the field of fruit and vegetable production, a significantly improved marketing method for the production of vegetables and fruits. Benefits of the project implementation: • Reducing the risk of exposure of consumers to pesticide residues in the food they consume; • Allowing producers to demonstrate compliance with organic certification requirements; other food safety programs that exclude or limit the use of pesticides and the recognition of these producers in the Pest Free system under certain conditions; • Increase the confidence of traders and buyers in the value chain in the residue profiles of purchased products to help them meet their food residue purity targets; • Facilitating the supervision of the PestFree system thanks to the implementation of new IT technologies and the creation of an integrated production chain "from field to table" ending with strict quality control of final products; • protection of water, soil and species biodiversity; • mitigating climate change.
