Kiwiberry fruit is a novelty on the horticultural market in Poland. Previous studies have confirmed their pro-health value and the Polish soil and climatic conditions are favorable for its cultivation. In order to extend the supply of fruit on the market, it is necessary to know optimal post-harvest procedures and technologies, which are currently lacking. Hence, the aim of the operation is to develop them in the field of post-harvest fruit treatment, long-term storage conditions and non-invasive sorting technology - building a prototype of a module sorting kiwiberry fruit in terms of their degree of maturity. The result of the operation will be the development of an optimal post-harvest procedure for kiwiberry, including the conditions of long-term storage, and the development and construction of a prototype of a module for sorting fruits non-invasively in terms of the degree of maturity.

The results of the operation will increase the production of kiwiberry in Poland and will affect the competitiveness of Polish producers of this fruit on the domestic and foreign markets. The developed post-harvest technology will allow for extending the supply of minikiwi fruit on the market. The development of a non-invasive fruit sorting module in terms of the degree of maturity will be the basis for the interest of producers of sorting machines and, consequently, should enable the production of such devices at prices available to smaller farms.
