Thanks to the implementation of the operation, the entire life cycle of the product (from the sourcing of the raw material to processing and delivery) will be based on the activities of the members of the operational group, who will be involved at each of these stages. This will lead to a number of benefits for the group members themselves, for consumers and also for the environment. Above all, the members of the group will be able to dispense with many of the intermediaries who, as a rule, play an important role in agricultural production, and dispensing with them will allow for better control of the quality of the product on offer and tangible savings in the margins of the intermediaries. Customers will be able to receive products of the highest possible quality and will be assured that the product they receive comes from the farm in question. The environment will also benefit significantly, as the maximum shortening of the supply chain means omitting stages that have an adverse impact on it (e.g. industrial cold storage and the associated emission of harmful substances into the environment). Traditional processing, bypassing industrial technologies, will also be important.
