The Mleczne Kujawy Operational Group will pursue new distribution channels (in accordance with the principles of direct sales legislation) - the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship and the neighbouring voivodships - Mazowieckie, Łódzkie, Wielkopolskie, Pomorskie and Warmińsko-Mazurskie. The region served by GO Mleczne Kujawy is attractive for tourism as well as economically, which will contribute to the creation of a customer base.
New distribution channels based on consortium members - 11 farmers producing livestock products for direct sale, as well as agricultural retail trade with the participation of the only permitted intermediary - Kujawska Spółdzielnia Mleczarska.
The consumer will be able to order dairy products to his or her doorstep, possibly at locations - contactless - by means of an online shop and a mobile app. This is particularly important in the dimension of the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic. Dairy products improve our bacterial flora and contribute to the fight against the SARS-COV-2 coronavirus pandemic.
The operation provides for the establishment of direct distribution channels between agricultural producers and consumers for products made from milk from agricultural producers participating in the consortium.
The main distribution tool envisaged by the consortium will be an online shop with adaptation to mobile devices. Currently, milk producers do not process milk but sell it in its raw form. As part of the operation, the consortium will start selling milk products directly to consumers, which will allow higher margins as well as establishing the brand among consumers.
