Shortening the supply chain, creating a joint offer and implementing a cooperation strategy that translates into increased competitiveness and sales opportunities

The sale within a short supply chain, where farmers belonging to the operational group deliver their products directly to the consumer, allows to increase the potential of group members. The short supply chain sale allows to obtain a higher price for the offered products. Joint selling in such a model also increases competitiveness through a wider range of products offered, ensuring their high quality and contact with consumers, which allows for a better understanding of their needs and response to them. Joint implement marketing activities as well as accounting and legal obligations are also beneficial as enable better management of time and financial resources of the group members.

The performed operation was created with the substantive support and involvement of Mr. Mariusz Porębski from the Świętokrzyskie Agricultural Advisory Center in Modliszewice. The farms that are part of the operational group are located in the Lipski poviat/district, in southern Mazovia, where there are no significant farmers\' associations at the moment, which translate into an increase in their sales opportunities. In the region, activities supporting the sale of agricultural products within short supply chains, which include a limited number of economic entities involved in it, are implemented to a marginal extent. There are no initiatives supporting local economic development. There is a great need to implement solutions that will strengthen geographic and social ties between food producers and consumers. Meanwhile, the subregion has a significant production potential and fruit-growing traditions, which is worth and should be used. The information and communication activities planned as part of the operation are based on the promotion strategy of, respectively: the offered products, short supply chains and related consumer benefits as well as the slogan: \"what\'s good, you will find close\", inscribed in the logo of the POLA SMAKU group (the so-called \"claim\"). It will also have numerous references on the website and on social media.
