Members of the "Świeżaki Sandomierskie" group run farms on an area of 18ha. They all specialize in the production of apples, which is a leading product with great tradition in the Sandomierz region. The group's offer also includes seasonal products, such as tomatoes, cabbage. Consortium members are provided with the necessary machines for production, i.e. tractors, sprayers, orchard carts, wooden boxes. To improve the harvest, I plan to purchase pallet boxes from which the fruit will be packed into smaller plastic packages and will be used for transport between members. The group does not have a means of transport, so it plans to buy a delivery truck, it will facilitate the transport of fruit between consortium members, and above all, it will facilitate the delivery of fresh products not only to local bazaars but to more distant cities with a greater number of consumers. The planned purchase of a sorting machine will improve the organization of work, preparation of fruit and vegetables through sorting.
In the future, members plan to modernize the building, i.e. purchase a cooling device to be able to supply good quality products all year round. The "Sandomierskie Świeżaki" group is a team of young farmers who want to enlarge and develop their farms, increase the quality of production and profitability of farms and use innovative technological solutions. All products from the group's offer, ie apples, cabbage, tomatoes, will be sold via the mobile application.
