The project foresees that the operation results will be of benefit to target groups operating in several areas. The benefits for farmers will include improved efficiency of permanent grassland use; optimization of dairy cow nutrition; and the possibility to produce milk with improved biological properties, which will ensure a higher price at delivery to the dairy. As a result of the operation, the milk purchaser will obtain raw milk with enhanced quality and technological suitability compared to the milk from conventional farms. The higher quality raw material will serve as a basis for making maturing cheeses with specific, high biological and health quality. Production of the novel range of innovative cheeses will allow dairy cooperatives to extend their offer for the regional and national markets. The results of the operation will also benefit the consumers, in particular those who attach growing importance to the quality of marketed food, its safety, naturalness, production quality, and health benefits.
