The aim of the project is to develop and implement an innovative technology for the detection and identification of cereal diseases. The proposed innovation implementating the use of remote sensing and artificial neural networks fills the areas where this innovative technology has not been used in any way so far. This applies not only to the chemical protection of cereals, but also to other agricultural and horticultural plants, selection of breeding materials in plant breeding and seed production enterprises and forestry. Finally, the proposed technology is a powerful tool in the hands of the farmer / agricultural producer. Thanks to this technology, agricultural producers will be able to increase the quantity and quality of grain crops, as well as other agricultural and horticultural crops. as well as reducing production coasts.

The main topic of the project will be an innovative database of cereal disease patterns and a country-wide innovative cereal classification software. The innovative technology developed during the research will be verified in therms of its application for various varieties and diseases of wheat and triticale. For positively verified varieties and diseases and day markings, patterns and the use of tools and software. The essential place of software is: 1. Determining the type of disease on the basis of the database of patterns (reduced by close remote sensing and neural networks). 2. Creating a quality spatial map defining the practise location of diseases with an accurancy of 1 milimeter. 3. Possibility to create an innovative database of digital disease patterns on the basis of photos taken. 4. Posibility to export the results of field analisys in formats used by automated machines )(sprayers) used for spraying crops with pesticides. As part of the research, the specification of minimum parameters for software operation will also be developed. Product optional for unusual cases, high-quality health maps, accuracy for wheat and triticale crops. Software with pattern days in free version, to promote the solution on the diet. The consortium's participation in fairs and conferences is planned, where the new technology will be presented. Popularization through popular science aricles in trade magazines and publication of the results in the centre's journals are also planned.
