). The main goal of the operation is to implement a new technology for the production of raspberry and blackberry plug plant and long cane seedlings with the use of substrates limiting water loss and additives stimulating growth and rooting while protecting the crop against pathogens, which reduces the negative effects of oxidative stress. As a result of the implementation, qualitative and quantitative changes will occur as a result of obtaining a greater number of seedlings with better vigor and productivity, ensuring faster and stable yields. Additionally, the use of water and pesticides will be limited. The main objective of the operation will be achieved as a result of achieving the following specific objectives; A. Development and implementation of effective water saving technologies through the use of biodegradable containers with a hydrogel or dendrimers in the substrate. B. Development and i

Fruit is a very important element in human nutrition, therefore the increase in their production will be of key importance in a healthy eating program. Among the species of fruit plants, raspberries and blackberries have special taste, nutritional and health-promoting properties. Due to the profitability of production, the cultivation of dessert raspberries is of greatest importance for the economy. The development of this production depends, among others, on on the availability of good-quality, healthy planting material. Therefore, we are taking steps to improve all stages of the production technology of plug plant seedlings and long cane seedlings, which are intended for cultivation under cover. All plants are very exposed to various types of stress and are particularly sensitive at the rooting stage, e.g. the lack or a small number of roots inhibits the transport of water and nutrients. One of the effects of oxidative stress in plants is reactive oxygen species. Often, the occurrence of stress determines the activation of plant-like defense mechanisms. for example, closing the stomata, but in the case of overproduction of reactive oxygen species, cell elements and biomolecules are damaged. Even more serious problems arise when they react with nucleic acids, causing DNA damage and problems with plant reproduction. The development of an innovative technology is to reduce the negative effects of oxidative stress and at the same time increase the percentage of admissions and the quality of raspberry and blackberry seedlings.
