The aim of the project is to develop and implement significantly improved products, new technologies and organization methods in the production of potted bulb plants - hyacinths, narcissi and tulips. Development of an innovative method of fogging with hydrogen peroxide stabilized with silver, not used and not tested in the production of potted bulb plants, leading to obtaining a product free of saprophytic fungi.

The aim of the operation is to develop an optimal, innovative model for the use of silver-stabilized hydrogen peroxide in forcing ornamental bulb plants. The specific goal will be to obtain improved products - bulb flowering plants - hyacinth, tulip and narcissus, by demonstrating the superior health of bulbs and substrate and better quality of ornamental bulb plants during the forcing period, using an innovative technology and production organization method - aerosolization with hydrogen peroxide stabilized with silver of cooling chambers. This will allow for a significant quality advantage compared to the existing technology. The production of a better quality product with the use of innovative forcing technology and production organization will ensure a higher market supply and thus increase consumer interest in the native product which will be more attractive in terms of price and quality than plants imported or produced in a traditional way. It will also open up opportunities for producers of cut flowers on smaller farms, who - by using bulbs forced with the innovative method - will be able to obtain a ready semi-finished product with high quality parameters, becoming partially independent from natural weather conditions and substantially increasing the possibilities of intensifying production.
