The superior aim of conducted project is a qualitative change which is defined as reduction of odorous volatile organic compounds emission to the nearest surrounding - Factory area - as well as to further surrounding - whole environment. Case 1: Devopment work: project of volatile organic compounds elimination line for factories processing category III animal material. Case 2: Development work: manufacturing biofilter prototype, modelling process of volatile organic compoinds absorption in water phase. Case 3: Development, pre-implementation and implementation work: start, optimisation and process improvement, results dissemination. Expected results: 1. Manufacturing of volatile organic compounds elimination line dedicated to factories processing category III animal material. 2. Increase of ecological purity of processing category III animal material through reduction of pollution emission to the atmosphere. 3. Use of volatile organic compounds as an alternative source of carbo

1. Increase of ecological purity of the process consisting in that biodegradation does not move pollution from one environmental phaze to the other ( for example from gas to liquid or solid) but degrades it completely which does not generate any subsidiary products that must be deposed. 2. Reduction of investment outlay value of biological air purification process in relation to other methods such as thermical or catalytic combustion. 3. Reduction of exploatation costs through lower energy consumption. 4. Reduction of investment outlay value through the use of existing infrastructure such as waterwaste plants. 5. Increase of positive ecological effect through elimination of the need to use expensive and non-ecological chemical compounds. Instead of which using volatile organic compounds as an alternative source of organic carbon for biocenotic organisms being used in activated sludge technology.

The operation was carried out in accordance with the scope of the material and financial statement on co-organizing: conducting research that was not inducing an innovative BIOFILTER. The goal of achievement through the activities of the research team that we operate, the use of the measuring apparatus and a set of chemical reagents. There was also a need for non-service crane services. The prototype was made based on the appropriate components. In achieving the implementation, the objectives of Action "Współpraca" 2A were achieved: 1) Innovation - creating an innovative BIOFILTER In cooperation with AGH, by promoting and publishing results (development, striving for access), including results that had an impact on the environment by eliminating industrial odors and volatile substances. Detailed objective achieved to: Development and implementation of a pilot technological line for the emission of volatile organic compounds generated in the smelting process from Category III animal tests. As a result of the completion of the achievement of the results having an impact on the environment: 1) small LZO in the emitted output into the stream decreased by 94%, 2) condensed ammonium condensate decreased by 95%. A group of two such as trimethylamines, isobasic acid, and formaldehyde have decreased by at least 91% such as the brand to stream concentration. Average reduction ratio for BIOFILTER 93.39%.
