The objective of the operation is to improve the efficiency of grassland overdrilling as well as improve the quality and amount of livestock fodder by means of new technological solutions in a seed drill, and use of herb species in seed mixes (alongside grasses and legumes). Soil, water and climate protection is a corollary objective. The key tasks to be carried out, and the expected results: 1) building the prototype of an improved seed drill equipped with an innovative coulter system with adjusted seeding depth (better conditions for seed germination and seedling emergence and growth, a device for combing out dead plant parts (the so-called soil opening), a seed mixer and fertiliser box (simultaneous seeding and fertilisation), and a GPS device for traction control during the deeding. 2) Carrying out the overdrilling (introduction of seeds into the sward by means of the seed drill mentioned above, without the need for full cultivation) at 6 locations, in 2 soil types, and on 3 dates
