To reduce the use of pesticides and antibiotics in agriculture and to eliminate formaldehyde from the disinfection of hatching eggs. There is a global trend in reducing the use of pesticides. Thanks to the implementation of this project, growers can significantly reduce pesticides in plant cultivation. Based on appeals to reduce the use of antibiotics, the EU decided to ban the administration of antibiotics to healthy animals from 2022. Our operation will develop technologies that will help farmers adapt to market requirements without compromising animal health and production costs. There is a trend to reduce formaldehyde in disinfection of hatching eggs. There will be developed a new technology on the Polish of using electrolyzed water in disinfecting hatching eggs, instead of using formaldehyde.

a) The results of the operation will contribute to a significant reduction in the use of chemical plant protection products. This will contribute to a significant protection of the environment against the harmful effects associated with the use of pesticides. b) The second result of the operation will be a significant reduction in the use of antibiotics in livestock farming. The growing resistance of bacteria to antibiotics used in human medicine means that more and more attention is paid to the need to take action to reduce the overuse of antibiotics in animal production. Thanks to this operation, the formation of resistance of various strains of bacteria to antibiotics will be reduced. c) The third result of the operation will be a reduction in the use of formaldehyde harmful to humans, animals and the environment.

The project implemented by the Operational Group "Healthy Food" has been implemented. All the assumed objectives of the project have been achieved. The final results of the research have been made available on the www.zdrowazywnosc.bioactiw.pl website in the form of attached developed technologies and research reports developed by the Operational Group "Healthy Food".
