The main benefits of the rural e-box project are that consumers will be able to buy high-quality food straight from the producer, while the farmer-producer will receive a decent payment for his or her work. This will contribute to improving the economic situation of farms. Thanks to the implementation of the rural e-box project, consumer awareness of Polish products produced by farmers and small local producers will also increase.

An improved innovative method of organisation was developed by bringing the producer closer to the consumer (and eliminating intermediaries). The most advantageous way of distributing agricultural products within short supply chains supplied from farmers in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship was selected by testing 3 models of food sales. An improved innovative method for marketing and local markets was developed. A state-of-the-art online platform was created to sell agricultural products and carry out marketing activities. An improved marketing method was also applied which is based on direct contact with customers and building its awareness and brand recognition by, among others: the development of a common logo, the organisation of meetings with customers at farmers' premises, fair events and meetings with nutritionists. An internal quality assurance system has also been developed, which has had an impact on building trust in both the farmers and the food produced by them.
