The aim of the Operation is to develop and implement innovative solutions for the production of micronutrient-enriched table eggs. These solutions will result in the production of hen eggs of new quality and health. The objective of the task is also to develop and implement an innovative health protection programme for laying hen flocks based on preparations of natural origin, which will minimise the occurrence of disease events that would require the use of antibiotics. The main task is to develop an installation for enriching feed with deficient elements such as manganese, copper and iron by biosorption. In this task, it is planned to use mixture formulations developed by a scientific institution. This will strengthen the link between the development of the agri-food sector and research and innovation contributing directly to the achievement of specific objective IB of the Rural Development Programme 2014-2020. The above-described results of the operation will allow tangible benefits to be achieved for the addressee of these solutions, which is any farm using the technologies described. They can be defined in several points: l. improvement of production profitability through introduction of new solutions increasing the volume and quality of production 2. increased competitiveness on the market through the introduction of a new product of better commercial quality 3. an increase or maintenance of the production performance of laying hens at a high level 4. better use of labour - better production planning and preparation for the introduction of new innovative solutions 5. improved productivity of hens as assimilation of enriched feed increases 6. production of eggs under conditions minimising the need for antibiotic treatment; 7. reduction of losses - improving the quality of raw egg material obtained from hens fed the new feed.
