The planned operation envisages the introduction of a number of technological and organisational product innovations aimed at reducing calf mortality in the first rearing period to 5%, limiting the use of antibiotic therapy in favour of disease prevention and prophylaxis, to strengthen cooperation between calf suppliers (mainly dairy farmers) and promote the implementation of vaccination systems for cows from which calves will be sent for fattening, to improve production indicators - daily gains, feed utilisation, implementation of systems for the ongoing monitoring of animal welfare and the microclimate of the facility. In terms of the final finish, the operation will contribute to the implementation of innovations obtaining a more standardised and reproducible final product, improvement of growth rates depending on the animal genotype from 1300-1700g/day, reduction of antibiotic treatment in favour of disease prevention, reduction of falls in this period to 2%.
