The frequency of manure removal from livestock buildings will increase. The manure removal cycle will shorten from three days to one day, resulting in improved poultry keeping conditions, thereby increasing bird production and health potential. It has been proven that in intensive poultry farming improvement of environmental conditions, production of pellets, which mainly can still be used as a fertilizer for agricultural purposes, but having other, much more beneficial, physical and chemical properties, different state of aggregation and other composition. The average market prices of granules range from 550 to 880 PLN per tonne of product, while the prices of fresh manure with humidity up to 80% from 20 to 50 PLN per tonne. Taking into consideration the economic calculation, the sale of granules by production farms may turn out to be an additional and significant source of income, and thus positively affect the profitability of egg production.
