The main goal of the operation is to develop and implement highly innovative solutions in the field of precision agriculture (PA) and precision livestock farming (PLF). Furthermore, the aim of the operation is to achieve synergy in the production chain of high-quality beef, in line with the "Farm to Fork" (FF) strategy, which would combine modern technologies in both PA and PLF. The holistic approach to sustainable beef production is an innovative solution on a national scale.

1. Development of innovative solutions in the production and harvesting of feed using precision agriculture. 2. Development of a prototype body weight measurement station with accompanying infrastructure, which allows for multiple measurements of animal body weight during water intake, water consumption, and frequency of visits to the watering station. The second prototype will be an intelligent system module for monitoring cattle nutrition. 3. Testing of developed solutions on a farm belonging to the operational group. 4. Evaluation of the economic effectiveness of implementing the developed solution.

The main problem that the operational group aims to solve is the lack of synergy in the sustainable production chain of high-quality beef, in accordance with the "from farm to fork" strategy, using solutions in both precision agriculture and precision livestock farming. As a result, the economic efficiency of sustainable beef production according to the strategy mentioned above is unsatisfactory. Sustainable beef production requires solutions both in the field production, where bulk feeds and a significant portion of supplementary feeds (grains) are produced, which are crucial in terms of quality and economic efficiency for achieving the final goals of producing culinary beef in a sustainable system, as well as in the livestock production.

The challenge lies in determining the effectiveness of actions in the context of not only achieving production and quality goals for the final product, which is beef, but above all, achieving sustainability. In the case of PLF, these devices require additional energy, so it be partially replaced by renewable energy sources (RES)? How will the holistic approach to sustainability on the FF path translate into the assumed efficiency goals?

The main benefits that will result from the implementation of the results of this operation in farms will be the improvement of efficiency in half rearing and feeding methods, resulting in improved techological parameters (growth rate, average weight gain in studies >1000g), health parameters (reduced morbidity (<25%) and mortality (<4%), reduction in antibiotic use (by 20%), and ultimately economic parameters (reduction in production costs (>15%).
